[ENG] All my apologies for my lack of updates but I'm drowning under tons of works. I'm currently working on many projects at the time : I've done a new book cover for french publishing house Gallimard SF Folio that'll be available in september, working on a comic book project that'll be presented at the "San Diego Comics Con" in july, illustrating many things for the french Monuments Nationaux and creating some pictures for various records... I do hope that'll I'll be able to show you all that things one day or another  but for the present time here is the illustration announcing the audio-visual exposition run by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux that'll take place in the french castle of Talcy !

[ENG] One thing I truly like is to find in the morning in my letter box the records and books on which I had the pleasure to work. I cannot resist to the temptation to show you a photo of french band Sybil Vane's last album on which I made one of the twelve inner illustrations. The band asked to 12 illustrators to create one picture per person in order to illustrate the 12 songs. The final graphical and musical results are a true success. Je me suis librement inspiré de Böcklin sur ce travail. Peut-être resservira-t'elle un jour ou l'autre pour un autre projet.

[ENG] Initialy done for a CD, this illustration has finally been rejected by the band who found that it wasn't matching their musical universe. I mainly and freely took my inspiration from painter Böcklin. [FR] Voici le digipack des Fragments de la Nuit que je viens de réaliser pour le compte du label Equilibrium. Le disque devrait sortir au mois de mai si je ne m'abuse. Ma collaboration avec ce quintet ne s'arrête pas là puisque je vais bientôt réaliser les illustrations d'un autre de leurs disques à paraître également sous peu. Je vous tiendrai bien entendu au courant dès que possible !

Ayant de moins en loins de temps à consacrer à mon travail personnel, je ressens assez souvent le besoin, lorsque je décide de faire quelque chose qui ne soit pas lié à une commande professionnelle, de faire des images comportant un semblant de message, ou du moins, qui s'inscrit dans un contexte souvent proche de notre actualité. Ici, je pense que l'image parlera d'elle-même.
